Workspace Dashboard and Widgets
The workspace dashboard is your central hub for viewing workspace activity, team collaboration, knowledge base status, and quick access to tools. It displays information in customizable widgets that you can rearrange to fit your workflow.
Overview
The dashboard provides a feed-style layout showing:
- Real-time workspace statistics and metrics
- Team collaboration feed (pinned insights, shared conversations)
- Knowledge base intelligence (indexed documents, context awareness)
- AI-generated content gallery
- Quick access to common actions
- Proactive AI insights based on workspace activity
Accessing the Dashboard
- Navigate to any workspace from your sidebar.
- Click on the workspace name or select it from the workspace list.
- The dashboard loads automatically when you enter a workspace.

The dashboard uses a responsive grid system that adapts to your screen size:
- Extra Large (XL): 4 columns
- Large (LG): 3 columns
- Medium (MD): 2 columns
- Small (SM) and below: 1 column (mobile view)
Widgets automatically rearrange to fit your screen size.
Drag and Drop (Desktop Only)
On desktop screens (large breakpoints and above), you can customize your dashboard layout:
- Drag widgets: Click and hold the widget header (drag handle) to move widgets around.
- Resize widgets: Hover over a widget corner to see resize handles, then drag to adjust size.
- Auto-save: Your layout preferences are automatically saved per workspace.
- Reset: If needed, you can clear your layout preferences from workspace settings.
Note: Drag and drop is disabled on mobile devices for better touch interaction. Widgets stack vertically on smaller screens.
Dashboard Widgets
1. Workspace Activity Widget Widget
Purpose: Displays key metrics and team engagement statistics.
Metrics Shown:
- Total Threads: Number of conversation threads in the workspace
- Team Members: Number of users with access to this workspace
- Avg. Daily Messages: Average number of messages sent per day
- Media Generations: Total AI-generated images/videos created
- Automations: Number of automated workflows configured
- Shared Links: Number of publicly shared conversation links
Priority: Primary (highlighted with special styling)
Use Cases:
- Quick overview of workspace activity
- Understanding team engagement levels
- Tracking content generation and automation usage
2. Intelligence Marketplace Widget (Knowledge Store) Widget
Purpose: Showcases featured AI tools, prompts, agents, and news from the marketplace.
Features:
- Carousel Display: Rotates through featured items automatically (every 5 seconds)
- Manual Navigation: Use arrow buttons or pagination dots to browse items
- Item Types: Shows tools, prompts, news articles, and agents
- Click to Explore: Click any item to view details in the full marketplace
What You'll See:
- Featured item image/thumbnail
Priority: Secondary
Use Cases:
- Discovering new AI capabilities
- Finding useful prompts and tools
- Staying updated with marketplace news
3. Pinned Insights Widget Widget
Purpose: Displays important messages and conversations that team members have pinned for easy reference.
Features:
- Pinned Messages: Shows messages marked as important by team members
- Source Information: Displays which thread each pin came from
- Citations: Shows document sources referenced in pinned messages
- Summarize: Button to generate an AI summary of all pinned insights
- Unpin: Remove pins directly from the widget (if you have permission)
Use Cases:
- Quick access to important team insights
- Reference key information without searching
- Share important findings with the team
How to Pin Messages:
- In any conversation thread, click the pin icon on a message
- Pinned messages automatically appear in this widget
- Only messages from threads you have access to will appear
4. Knowledge Base Widget
Purpose: Shows statistics and management options for your workspace's document knowledge base.
Statistics Displayed:
- Files: Number of uploaded files (PDFs, Word docs, etc.)
- URLs: Number of web pages indexed
- Words: Total word count across all documents
- Tokens: Total token count (used for AI context calculations)
- Storage Usage: Visual progress bar showing storage used vs. available
- Last Updated: Date when documents were last processed
Document List:
- Shows a scrollable list of all indexed documents
- Displays document name, source type, and last sync date
- Click any document to preview its contents
- Pinned documents are marked with a pin icon
Actions:
- Manage Button: Opens document management page to upload, delete, or organize documents
Priority: Primary
Use Cases:
- Monitor knowledge base size and health
- Quick access to document previews
- Track storage usage
- Manage document collection
5. Shared Conversations Widget
Purpose: Displays public conversation threads shared by team members.
Features:
- Public Threads: Shows threads that have been made publicly accessible
- Team Contributions: Highlights conversations shared by your team
- Quick Access: Click any thread to open it in a new tab
- Thread Preview: Shows thread title and basic information
What You'll See:
- Thread title
- Creator/author information
- Share date
- Thread link
Priority: Tertiary
Use Cases:
- Discover interesting team conversations
- Access shared knowledge and discussions
- Learn from team members' interactions with AI
How to Share Threads:
- In any conversation thread, use the share option
- Mark threads as public to make them appear here
- Only threads you have access to will be visible
6. Creative Gallery Widget
Purpose: Displays AI-generated images created by team members in this workspace.
Features:
- Image Grid: Shows thumbnails of generated images
- Image Details: Click any image to see:
- Full-size preview
- Generation prompt
- Creator username
- Model used
- Style type
- Creation date
- Download option
- Empty State: Shows helpful message if no images have been generated yet
What You'll See:
- Image thumbnails in a grid layout
- Image previews with hover effects
- Click to view full details modal
Priority: Tertiary
Use Cases:
- Browse team's creative work
- Get inspiration for your own generations
- Access previously generated images
- Share visual content with the team
Note: Only images marked as "public" by creators will appear in this widget.
7. Pinned Charts Widget
Purpose: Displays data visualizations (charts) that have been pinned to the dashboard.
Features:
- Chart Types: Supports bar charts, line charts, pie charts, and composed charts
- Interactive: Charts are fully interactive and can be explored
- Wide Format: Some chart types (bar, line, composed) display in wider widgets
- Unpin: Remove charts from dashboard with the X button
- Chart Details: Shows original prompt used to generate the chart
What You'll See:
- Chart visualization
- Chart title
- Pinned date
- Remove/unpin button
Priority: Dynamic (appears only when charts are pinned)
Use Cases:
- Monitor key metrics visually
- Track trends over time
- Share data insights with the team
- Create custom dashboards with relevant charts
How to Pin Charts:
- In any conversation, when the AI generates a chart, use the pin option
- Charts are automatically added to the dashboard
- You can pin multiple charts to track different metrics
8. Pinned Tables Widget
Purpose: Displays data tables that have been pinned to the dashboard.
Features:
- Table Display: Shows formatted tables with proper styling
- Scrollable: Large tables can be scrolled within the widget
- Markdown Support: Tables are rendered from markdown format
- Unpin: Remove tables from dashboard with the X button
- Table Title: Custom title for each pinned table
What You'll See:
- Formatted table with rows and columns
- Table title
- Pinned date
- Remove/unpin button
Priority: Dynamic (appears only when tables are pinned)
Use Cases:
- Quick reference to important data
- Share structured information with the team
- Track lists and datasets
- Create custom data views
How to Pin Tables:
- In any conversation, when the AI generates a table, use the pin option
- Tables are automatically added to the dashboard
- You can pin multiple tables for different datasets
Quick Actions Bar
Located at the top of the dashboard, the Quick Actions bar provides one-click access to common tasks:
Available Actions:
- New Chat: Create a new conversation thread
- Workspace Settings: (Managers/Admins only) Access workspace configuration
- Digital Workers: Navigate to AI agents and workflows dashboard
- Image Generation: Navigate to media generation tools
- Upload Files: Open file upload dialog to add documents
- Scheduled Jobs: View and manage scheduled automations
How to Use:
- Click any button to perform the action immediately
- Buttons show icons and labels (labels may be hidden on smaller screens)
- Hover effects provide visual feedback
AI Intelligence Insights
Below the Quick Actions bar, you may see proactive AI insights:
What They Show:
- Contextual suggestions based on workspace activity
- Tips for improving workspace usage
- Notifications about workspace state (e.g., document count, activity levels)
Examples:
- "Your workspace has X indexed documents. The AI can now provide more context-aware responses."
- "Team activity is increasing - X conversations and counting. Consider sharing valuable insights with the team."
When They Appear:
- Only shown when relevant (e.g., when you have documents or active threads)
- Automatically hidden when not applicable
- Non-intrusive design that doesn't block content
Tips for Using the Dashboard
- Customize Your Layout: Arrange widgets in the order that makes sense for your workflow
- Monitor Activity: Check the Workspace Activity widget regularly to stay informed
- Use Pins: Pin important messages and insights for quick reference
- Explore Marketplace: Check the Intelligence Marketplace widget for new tools and capabilities
- Manage Knowledge: Regularly review the Knowledge Base widget to ensure documents are up to date
- Share Insights: Make conversations public to help your team discover valuable information
- Track Metrics: Pin charts and tables to create custom metric dashboards
